Though not all of us know a lot about trucks, most of us can spot the telltale signs of age in them. Afterall, with some pushing 150,000 miles on the road or more, it's not uncommon to see balding tires, a few dents and dings, a little bit of paint chipping, all telltale signs that a vehicle is nearing the end of its usable life. But what would a truck with a million miles on it look like? Well, as it turns out, not too shabby.

Victor Sheppard is as dedicated a Toyota owner as you can get. In fact, he'd owned 14 Toyota Tundras before he purchase a 2007 model nine years ago. Over the course of those nine years, Sheppard averaged roughly 125,000 miles of driving across the U.S. per year for work. How did he do it? Sheppard said it was easy, he just kept up with his manufacturer-scheduled maintenance, taking it to his local Toyota service center, where it was worked on regularly using only authentic Toyota parts.

Sheppard traded his 2007 Tundra in last week for a brand-new 2016 Tundra at his local dealership and if you think that his truck simply limped onto the lot, think again. Sheppard says despite sporting a few dings and and being a little bit dirtier, his Tundra runs just as well as when he bought it…and it still has many of its original parts too. Now that is one tough truck!

So, if you'd like to keep your Toyota vehicle on the road as long as Sheppard did with his 2007 Tundra, stop in to our service center, where are talented Toyota technicians will make sure your car or truck stays road-ready for as long as you drive it!
